We did something really neat last summer...my sisters,2 nieces and me with some or all of our respective families spent a week at Ocean Isle Beach,NC.It was a wonderful getaway.A house full of love.My husband and I had our youngest son there for a few days as well as our only granddaughter the whole week.A good time was had by all and we hope to do it again.

That sounds like a lot of fun! My sister-in-law comes from a big family (8 kids) and every summer almost all of them get together for a week at the Jersey shore. Big family vacations seem like a great way to bond and have fun.
It absolutely was.We had 24 people in the house at times but we never got in each others way.Each family cooked dinner one evening and we all went out to dinner once.
